Notes to Students:  While I will be recording lectures this school year, labs will for the most part be prerecorded and not recorded live unless no prior recording exists yet.  Regarding office hours, I will try to do simultaneous in person and Zoom office hours, but priority will be given to those showing up in person.  Moreover, I may mute both audio and video so that items that should be discussed privately are indeed private.  If you show up to an office hour in person and I am not there, call me at 321-749-3437; it is quite possible I am handling someone else's issue.  If I am not on Zoom for an office hour, I may be handling someone's private issue (especially at the start of an office hour); in that case, if you join the appropriate Zoom office hour, I will be alerted via e-mail.  Also, within the Zoom office hour, type something into chat.  Regarding attendance to lectures and labs, students are expected to attend in person as much as humanly possible.  Basics of Making labs can often be made up, as there are five sections, especially in the Friday 1-5 PM section (which should make up for all missed labs that week).  If you work full time, then you are encouraged to attend the Basics of Making 8 AM lecture synchronously on Zoom.  If you look in the appropriate places within your Canvas courses, you will see that all classes and labs have been prerecorded except for a few labs in The Basics of Making.
